Workshop 13: HIV Incidence and risk factors (1)

Zanzibar, Tanzania

April 2016

This workshop was hosted by Ifakara and attended by participants from Agincourt, Karonga, Kisesa, Kisumu, Manicaland, Masaka, Rakai and uMkhanyakude.

In the workshop we produced updated estimates of HIV incidence rates, and looked at trends over time and differences in incidence by age, sex and socio-demographic characteristics. We refined multiple imputation of seroconversion dates to improve our estimates and investigated risk factors for seroconversion.
